What is the Builders Program looking for?

We are looking for teams and projects that are using at least one component of the Cosmos Stack: Tendermint, CosmosSDK, IBC, Cosmwasm.

What are the eligibility requirements?

Teams and Projects can enter the program at multiple stages, ranging to early stages such as pre-incorporation and fundraising as well as teams who are already more progressed.

Teams who apply should have an established team in place and have a clear vision of their project.

The most important thing for a successful application is a compelling idea and a well thought out proposal of your project. No white paper is needed, but the more detailed and more specific the information material is, the better.

Do I need to have funding in order to apply to the Builders Program?

No. If your project is at a stage where it doesn't have funding yet, we will help you with a fundraising strategy and navigate you through the funding process.

Is there an application deadline?

There are no application periods or deadlines, applications can be submitted throughout the year and will be reviewed regularly.

Will there be grants given out?

No. If you're seeking non-dilutive grants, we can connect you to major grant programs in the ecosystem.

How long does the program run for?

As there is no one size fits all model, the length of the program will be evaluated individually for each team depending on their stage and requirements. The program can run anywhere from 1 to 5 years and it’s designed as a long term commitment rather than a short term bootcam

Are there any costs?

No, the program is entirely free. The Builders Program is part of the ecosystem's public good infrastructure, funded by the ICF as part of their mandate to support the growth and development of the ecosystem.
