No, the program is entirely free. The Builders Program is part of the ecosystem's public good infrastructure, funded by the Interchain Foundation as part of their mandate to support the growth and development of the ecosystem.
No. If you're seeking non-dilutive grants, we can connect you to major grant programs in the ecosystem, but we, nor the ICF gives out grants or any sort of funding to participating projects. We do connect projects that are fundraising to our network of investors. We also have an overview available on our Knowledge Hub.
The application process consists of an evaluation on the basis of your submission and an introductory call between your team and the Builders Program committee. The program onboards new teams on a rolling basis.
There are no application periods or deadlines, applications can be submitted at any point. We review and onboard new teams every two to three weeks, so the waiting time can run up to a month until we evaluate the project and invite you to an introduction call.
The Interchain Builders Program supports projects that are interested in using at least one component of the Interchain Stack: CometBFT / Tendermint, Cosmos SDK, IBC, CosmWasm.
Projects can enter the program at any stage, ranging from early stages such as pre-incorporation and fundraising as well as teams who are already more progressed. Teams who apply should have an established team in place and have a clear vision of their project. The most important thing for a successful application is a compelling idea and a well thought out proposal of your project. No white paper is needed, but the more detailed and more specific the information material is, the better.

No. If your blockchain project is at a stage where it doesn't have funding yet, we will help you with a fundraising strategy and navigate you through the funding process and help connect you to our ever growing network of Venture Capital firms.
As there is no one size fits all model, the length of the program will be evaluated individually for each team depending on their stage and requirements. The program is designed as a long term partnership rather than a short term bootcamp.
